How to get more Stamina and run longer in Genshin Impact

The way the system works

As you explore the world of Teyvat in Genshin Impact, you will need more stamina to climb high cliffs and run longer. This is an important element of the game. Without enough stamina, you can fall off the cliff, and generally, you run in Genshin Impact rather often, so you’d feel like your exploration is slowed down.

To do this, you need to find Geoculus, Anemoculus, and Electroculus, and give them to the Statues of the Seven on the map, depending on the location. Anemoculus are the blue floating orbs given to the Statues of the Seven in Mondstadt, Geoculus are the gold floating orbs you give to the Statues of the Seven in Liyue, and the Electroculus are the purple floating orbs intended to be used for the Statues of Seven in Inazuma.

There are several statues scattered around the map in all three regions. When you have Anemoculus, Geoculus, or Electroculus, you may offer them to the statues by selecting “Worship Statue” as you approach. When you’re giving the appropriate orbs to the Statue, it will gradually upgrade until level 10. Each time it is upgraded, you gain more maximum stamina, as well as some other benefits such as Primogems and EXP.

Spotting Anemoculus, Geoculus, and Electroculus orbs

As you move around Teyvat, you will see small white four-pointed stars on the minimap indicating that you are near Anemoculus, Geoculus, or Electroculus. Just run up to them on your map to grab them, but note that they may be hiding in the cave below you or sitting high in the air above you.

When hunting Anemoculus, Geoculus, and Electroculus, you may use this interactive map, marking them as you find them. As you continue to hunt for the last few orbs, it will be very difficult to find the missing ones.

Alternatively, if you want to find them the way how it was intended by the developer, you can use the Resonance Stone items, such as the Anemoculus, Geoculus, or Electroculus Resonance Stones. You can craft them at any alchemy workstation. But note that they’re quite expensive and require some resources to craft, and can be used only once.

You can temporarily improve your stamina

As a temporary stamina boost, you can cook and eat food that will reduce your stamina consumption. You can also use Amber or Venti as the members of your active group, as their passive skills allow you to use less stamina while you are using your glider. Likewise, if you have Kaeya in your group, you will need less stamina to sprint.

As of Genshin Impact 2.8, you have 14 types of food that will affect your stamina. The food that improves your stamina for a period of time has its own category, “Adventurer’s Dishes”.
